Mini Ganga Quest

Since 2019, Mini Ganga Quest has been organized during Ganga Utsav that is celebrated during the first week of November to pay tribute to our river Ganga. It has captured lot of interest from school students, university students, professionals, and all sections of the society. In the year 2020, a live quiz was also organized with the quizmaster which was appreciated even more.

CLAP 4 Ganga Launch and Activities

On 1st of November, 2021; CLAP4Ganga portal will be launched. CLAP4Ganga platform to connect the children and youth to Namami Gange Initiative, consistently engage them, prompt them to act for our rivers and own them up as their own assets.

All registrations done during Ganga Utsav 2021 will get additional CLAP points
First 50 registrations to get Namami Gange T-shirts
All events happening across 75 different locations all across the country to celebrate river festival will be displayed on CLAP4Ganga Portal. Children and youth can register to volunteer and if they participate, will get an e-certificate
All audience will be invited to go to Bandanwar making video under the “Do More” section of CLAP4Ganga for an assigned one and a half hours (1st of November, 02:00 to 03:30 pm). Participants can attempt making Bandanwar, create a video and send it on social media with hashtags #CLAP4GANGA #GangaUtsav2021 and tag TREE Craze Foundation and Namami Gange Facebook page. First 10 entries to get Namami Gange T-shirts.
All audience will be invited to download and solve the Crossword under the “Play More” Section of CLAP4Ganga for an assigned one hour (1st of November, 03:45 to 04:45 pm). Participants can attempt the crossword, and send the solution on social media with hashtags #CLAP4GANGA #GangaUtsav2021 andtag TREE Craze Foundation and Namami Gange Facebook page. First 5 participants who send correct solution shall be given amazon voucher of Rs 1000.
All audience will be invited to play Jumbled Words game in the “Play More” section of CLAP4Ganga for an assigned one hour (2nd of November, 10:00 to 11:00 am). Participants can attempt the game online and their position on leaderboard shall be visible real-time. First 5 winners on the leaderboard shall be given amazon voucher of Rs 1000.
All audience will be invited to download and solve the Word Search under the “Play More” Section of CLAP4Ganga for an assigned one hour (2nd of November, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm). Participants can attempt the word search and send the solution on social media with hashtags #CLAP4GANGA #GangaUtsav2021 and tag TREE Craze Foundation and Namami Gange Facebook page. First 5 participants who send correct solution shall be given amazon voucher of Rs 1000.
All audience will be invited to play Map based quiz activity based on the Story Map on Community Efforts under the “Show Case” Section. This activity is planned to build knowledge and no winners will be announced for this activity.
All audience will be invited to play Curiosity Quiz game in the “Play More” section of CLAP4Ganga for an assigned one hour (2nd of November, 02:00 to 03:00 pm). This quiz will be based on curated articles under “Know More” section. Participants can attempt the game online and their position on leaderboard shall be visible real-time. First 5 winners on the leaderboard shall be given amazon voucher of Rs 1000.
All audience will be invited to convey their gratitude for our national river Ganga by going to the “Enjoy More” section, listening to the Kartavya Ganga Song and writing in the comment box on the topic “Why is Ganga important for you or What importance does Ganga hold for you?”
All audience will be invited to write a blog on any topic with following themes: sustainable living, know your environment, facets of pollution, thinking ahead for rivers or life in a river. The participants can submit their blogs by submitting their entries in the “Share More” section of the CLAP4Ganga Portal till Children’s Day, i.e. 14th of November, 2021. Selected 10 legitimate entries will get Namami Gange T-shirts. Selection will be based on language, relevance to the chosen theme, originality, creativity, and others as decided by the designated panel. Selected blogs will also be showcased on the CLAP4Ganga Portal.
